The community events and programs committee plans free events for our school community. In addition to determining what events the PTA will sponsor, the committee members work with outside vendors and partners as needed; coordinate use of the building and facilities with school staff; publicize and promote the event; coordinate event volunteers and manage the event itself, including set-up and clean-up.
The hospitality committee has the very enjoyable task of showing appreciation and support for our wonderful faculty and staff. The committee provides meals and small gifts throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to donate and/or shop for food and set-up and clean up from events.
The fundraising committee is responsible for organizing our annual donation drive and spirit nights at local restaurants. The fundraising committee will also work closely with the musical program to help coordinate program ad sales.

The Musical Committee is made up of the Producers responsible for organizing and overseeing our annual musical production.Within the structure of the musical there are numerous opportunities for volunteering!

The communication committee develops content for our newsletter, website, Facebook and Twitter pages. The team works with every member of the executive board, all committee chairs, and CMS staff to ensure our PTA members are kept up to date with the projects and events.

The community service committee is dedicated to empowering CMS students to action to make our community a better place to live. This committee is responsible for running projects that focus on the bettering the environment helping our fellow citizens and personal health.

The Scholarships, Internships and Camps committee compiles and updates a list of Scholarships, Internships and Camps available to Middle School students.

The Membership Committee runs our membership drive and yearly membership events!
Chair: Fatima Coy McIntyre
The Yearbook Committee works to help coordinate the sales of the yearbook.
